RICHES HEAD.png

Hello everyone, welcome to my first post about my internship. in the thePh.D program.

I will work this semester with Dr. Mel Stanfill on RICHES MI project https://riches.cah.ucf.edu/.

Riches MI (Mosaic Interface) is an interdisciplinary public history project that partners different departments at UCF with profit and non-profit sectors of the community to provide a free, interactive digital collection of documents, films, images, oral histories and podcasts, and other visualizations that both academic and community researchers can access for their knowledge and analysis.
Kirk Lundblad and Connie Lester and me will work on the web developing team. I am interested to direct my research into one path that helps my career in Social Media websites.
I am building the Social media plan and where are the strength and the weakness in REACHES SM accounts. Notably, Riches has an excellent Twitter content.
I am thinking to establish an Instagram account. The digital library has significant History pictures.  Images attract people more than text. Studies had been shown that "More than 60 percent (65 percent) of people are visual learners." at https://www.ragan.com/infographic-why-visual-content-is-better-than-text/.

I am wondering what do  I add to my plan to keep the accounts more active and promote the social media presence of RICHES MI in Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest.
I hope I will have anew and enjoyable experience.
Thank you for your time :)
